Vanize

Formed by Peter Dirkschneider (ex Danton), the brother of singer Udo Dirkschneider (U.D.O, ex Accept), together with bassist Marcus Bielenberg, also ex Danton. The band became a quartet after guitarist Carsten Hensel left in 92. In 95 the album "Twins?" was released, followed by a tour with Tankard and Running Wild. In 97, Vanize toured with UDO and Axxis, then the following year a tour between brothers in Sweden and then in Spain. That same year, Stefan Kaufmann produced the album "Bootlicker". The album's release was followed by promotional dates in Germany with Testament. At the end of the year 2000, Rolf Munkes (Empire) replaced Markus Becker. Then in October 2002, Munkes, Bielenberg and Fienhold left Vanize. The trio is found again in 2003 with Razorback.
