Victory

Formed in 84 in Hamburg by Peter Knorn on the ashes of Fargo. Success was immediate and the band chained together tours and albums. Victory was formed in 1984 from the remains of the band Fargo. Bassist Peter Knorn, the two guitarists Tommy Newton and John Lockton and drummer Bernie Van Der Graaf had all previously worked together in that band. After originally working with singer Pedro Schemm, the former singer of Gary Moore and Ted Nugent, Charlie Huhn, became the band's singer. Recommended by Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker, the band signed a management deal with David Krebs (who managed, among others, Scorpions and Aerosmith).
