Voyage

Founding member Robert Westerholt left The Circle during the recording of their first album in 1995 due to creative differences, and immediately afterward, the band changed its name to "Voyage", because Robert insisted on taking the name with him. Consequently, the band's album was released under the band name Voyage; titled "Embrace" (1996, Nightfall Records). This album was originally intended to be The Circle's first album. Robert co-wrote most of the tracks on "Embrace", but he was not mentioned at all in the booklet. Robert was replaced on the album's recordings by Patrick Harreman. After the name change from The Circle, Robert Westerholt founded the well-known band Within Temptation, with some members of Voyage joining him as well (after Voyage's breakup).
