Zonata

Several bands coming from Sweden have made their mark over the past few years and are considered the next generation of power metal. Zonata could have been one of them. The band announced their breakup in April 2003, but let's take a look at the history they had. Zonata was created in 1998 and they signed a contract with the company Century Media Records fairly quickly. They put their demo "The Copenhagen tapes" on the market shortly before the release of their first album "Tunes of steel" in 1999 in Germany by producer Andy Classen. The reviews were very good in Europe and in Japan for the first album. A powerful and melodic sound under the inspiration of Iron Maiden and Helloween. With the new wave of power metal bands in Europe, Zonata wanted to make songwriting one of the band's main points.
