Arise - The Sri Lankan Metal Music Documentary

The film features four bands playing different styles within the metal genre: Funeral in Heaven (Black Metal), Fallen Grace (Melodic Death), Merlock (Progressive Thrash) and Cannabis (Sludge Metal). The filmmakers show the performances and interview the bands. The film was shot on DV using borrowed equipment in clubs around Colombo and Kandy, in Sri Lanka, over a period of two years.
