Dark Shadows

In the year 1775, Angélique Bouchard, the servant of Barnabas Collins, falls in love with him. But he rejects her advances, and out of revenge, Angélique murders his parents. Later, Barnabas decides to marry Josette, the young woman he loves. Angélique, furious, uses her witch's powers to turn him into a vampire, drive Josette to suicide, and turn the town against him. Barnabas finds himself locked in a coffin and buried in the forest. Two centuries later, Barnabas is accidentally freed from his grave by workers. Still being a vampire, he is compelled to drink their blood. Angélique (now called Angie) is still alive and, learning that Barnabas has returned, intends to wage a vendetta against the Collins family if Barnabas refuses her once again...
