Freddy's Dead

Maggie Burroughs, a pretty child psychologist, is woken one night by a horrible nightmare. At her job, in a shelter for the homeless, she meets John Doe, a troubled, insomniac teenager. John is the only survivor of the Elm Street nightmares and, knowing that Freddy Krueger's weapon is sleep, he refuses to sleep. Talking to John, Maggie realizes that what he says is connected to her nightmares. The two decide to go to Springwood to try to uncover Freddy's secret. They dig into his past and find that hell has started all over again. After a spectacular battle, Maggie, who is in fact Freddy's daughter, manages to kill the monster.
