Global Metal (7 Countries. 3 Continents. 1 Tribe.) is a 2008 documentary directed by Scot McFadyen and the Canadian anthropologist Sam Dunn. It is the sequel to their successful 2005 documentary, Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. The world premiere took place during the Bergen International Film Festival, on October 17, 2007. Global Metal aims to show the impact of globalization on heavy metal as well as how different people, coming from different cultures, have transformed heavy metal music.
