Sound Of Metal

Ruben and Lou are a couple of artists living on the fringes of the cities in a camper van. They crisscross the United States to play underground noise rock concerts, she behind the mic and he behind his drums. One day, during a concert, Ruben can hear nothing but a faint buzzing. The doctor's diagnosis comes down: he will soon be completely deaf. The drummer is utterly devastated. He gradually sinks into depression and into his old addictions. Ruben and Lou will then have to make a difficult decision that will upend their future.
