Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

JB (Jack Black) has no luck. A rock enthusiast, he lives in Kickapoo, Missouri, in an extremely religious family who believe that rock'n'roll is the work of Satan. After his father gives him a good thrashing and tears down the posters of his idols, young JB says a prayer to Dio, who answers that he must leave the family home and go to Hollywood, "the city of fallen angels where the sea meets the sand," to form a band, defeat his own demons and learn the secrets of rock'n'roll.
